How to Revoke Your License Manager Role

This article is for Workspace Admins who want to give up their license management role for an Timeline subscription.

A) Revoking Your Role (Non-Billing Owners)

If you are a Workspace Admin but not the Billing Owner of the subscription, you can revoke your own role at any time.

  1. Sign in to your account at lucensoftware.com and go to Admin > Subscriptions.
  2. Select the subscription you want to update.
  3. On the Details tab, find the License info section.
  4. Next to Workspace admin, click Edit.
  5. In the Change License Manager dialog, click Remove License Manager.

Once removed, the Billing Owner will be notified and automatically reassigned as the Workspace Admin.

Only the Billing Owner can assign a new Workspace Admin after the role has been removed.


B) Revoking Your Role (Billing Owners)

If you are both the Billing Owner and the Workspace Admin, you can remove your Workspace Admin role using the same steps as above. Your Billing Owner access and full admin rights are not affected.

Each subscription has one designated Workspace Admin slot. If you remove yourself, the slot will be empty until a new Workspace Admin is assigned.
