Overview
This guide explains how to activate new purchases (new license keys) of Office Timeline Expert Edition. For instructions on how to upgrade an existing license to Expert Edition, please see our upgrade guide here.
Steps

Make sure PowerPoint is closed.

Download and install the latest version of Office Timeline, which will appear as an extra tab on the PowerPoint ribbon, as shown in the image below.

Click Activate on the Office Timeline ribbon in PowerPoint and paste your product key.

Check that Office Timeline Expert Edition has been successfully activated. You can tell if the tab on the PowerPoint ribbon displays Office Timeline Expert.
If the activation fails, it may be because either firewalls or connectivity are preventing the process. We have a simple solution for activating licenses in these scenarios:
- Manual activation (should work in case of firewall restrictions)
- Offline activation (in case of no internet connectivity).
