ms-project-2019-error-file-corrupt

You're certain that the file isn't actually corrupted or password-protected. What's going on?

Overview & Solution

Because of recent changes in Microsoft's Aspose library, there is a connectivity issue between Office Timeline – or any other add-in – and some of the latest versions of Microsoft Project.

We're sorry for the inconvenience – we have already raised a ticket with Aspose and they ensured us they will release a fix by the end of July. In the meantime, there is a workaround you can use: export your Project data to Excel and then import it into Office Timeline:

  1. Copy & paste or export your data from MS Project to Excel.

  2. Save your Excel spreadsheet and import it into Office Timeline. The video below shows the exact Excel Import steps:

If you still have trouble importing your data or encounter any other issues,  don't hesitate to contact us. We'll be happy to help!
