C) Plan Beta

Plan is an Excel add-in that transforms spreadsheets into dynamic project plans. Stop fighting with manual formatting and formulas and start planning smarter in Excel.

  1. Click download the Plan beta (this now follows the CTA on both landing pages)
  2. Click get it now to install the add-in from the Microsoft AppSource
  3. Click Open in Excel
  4. Click the Open  Plan icon on the top left

D) Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is there a cost to participate?

A: No. Beta participation is free.

Q: Which versions are supported?

  • Flowchart: PowerPoint 2016 or later on Windows (including Microsoft 365). Not supported on Mac, the web, or mobile.
  • Plan: Excel 2016 or newer, including Microsoft 365

Q: Will my beta work be compatible with the release version?

A: We aim for compatibility, though some features may change.

Q: Will flowcharts I created in the old beta work in the new beta release?

A: No. To keep working, download the new build. Flowcharts from the earlier beta won't carry over, so uninstall the current Flowchart beta before installing the new one. 

Q: Do I need special training?

A: No. Both products build on familiar PowerPoint and Excel environments.
