      Can I configure Office Timeline to go through my web proxy?

      Overview

      Yes, Office Timeline can be configured to go through your organization’s web proxy for communications (e.g. for activating a license or importing from Smartsheet or Jira). Here’s how:

      Steps

      1. In PowerPoint, click Settings on the Office Timeline ribbon.

      2. Go to the Proxy tab and then select Custom to specify your web proxy settings. You will need to contact your IT Helpdesk to obtain this information.

      3. Make sure you test the settings once you've entered the URL, Port, and Username / Password (if that's required to access the web proxy).
      4. Click Save and try importing from Smartsheet again.
